"The rain was particularly heavy when we checked in and the room we booked had a small leak, so we had a downstairs river view for the first night. This first room, though large with AC, just felt dark (the windows were looking onto the lower terrace so you felt you had to shut the curtains). The shower also would not get warm. However, for the second night we were moved into an upstairs river view room, and what a difference! It was so light and airy feeling - again with AC and great space....

"The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful.
