"This is a comfortable but basic place. The rooms are on the 4th floor of a multi use block. The lift is small and if you have mobility issues; this probably won't suit you. On arrival, I received a friendly welcome from the receptionist The room itself while not the biggest, was perfectly good for my needs on this visit. There is quite a bit of noise from the floor above and from adjoining rooms; so if you have trouble sleeping, bring earplugs. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee...

"I really wanted to give this place a 5 because the mixed reviews/inconsistent photos made me a but nervous to book but I have never been more pleasantly surprised. The only reason I knocked a star off is for a bad customer service experience at the end of our stay. There appear to be 2 different kinds of rooms in the photos, one super nice & one not so nice. Our room was INCREDIBLY nice for this level of hotel/hostel. I think they are renovating or something so there is a chance you could book...

"This hostel is a wee bit unique in its setting - it’s half a floor of what one might consider an apartment block. Having said that it was clean and well located. Instructions on how to get in were clear and worked fine. Reception hours are restricted to the mornings so only saw staff once, briefly, during our two night stay. "
