"The staff was very friendly helpful. The room was huge, clean, quiet, wifi great, all the meals I had was tasty and well presented. I noticed that the service at the pool was very slow and it took forever to pick up the dirty dishes. I am not sure if the manager is giving enough guidance"

"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . There are many things to do swimming , cycling , walking , visit the hotel vegetable garden and see the birds enroute . I look forward to visiting Spier next year after its...

"Cleanliness, facilities, staff, views, breakfast everything was 10/10. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the rooms were spacious and we had a beautiful view and balcony. "

"Room was ok, but for the price you’d expect soap in the bathroom, some sort of milk for coffee, and WiFi that might actually connect to the internet. Also had to get another guest to help check me out because the hostess had turned her phone off. Average at best. "
