"For two the room was a good size, the shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were all really friendly. The continental breakfast was lovely, a good selection of pastries, meats, cheese and cereals. The coffee was decent too. Disappointed on our last morning we were told breakfast opens at 06:15, we waiting to 06:30 and still not open and unfortunately we had to leave for our flight. "Great staff, good breakfast, warm rooms unable to adjust temp, so you have to open the window. It is on the train station so people are loud and noisy especially at night. Immigrants hanging out smoking, drinking and getting high talking bad about the Swiss. Very clean hotel and nice rooms. "

"Excellent location, spacious, clean room with a country feel. I loved the all-around heating stove and the beautiful heating stove from 1773 just took us back in time. If I stay in Gruyeres again I would choose this place again, for the above reasons. "
