"We loved our stay at Pedro's and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Pedro was a very friendly, helpful host. The apartment was very clean, with everything needed for a holiday stay. The roof terrace was ideal for lazy days and evening drinks. It is an easy walk into the centre of Funchal and the walk back is not a problem, but would recommend a taxi (4-5 euro) if retuning from supermarket. Thank you Pedro 😁"

"Carolina was a great host! The place was clean and so peaceful up on the mountain side near the airport. Under 30 min drive to the main trails or Funchal. The only downside is the roads leading up to the property were quite steep and narrow-you definitely have to be a decent driver. Cannot wait to stay there again. "

The friendliness of the man who checked us in and the accommodation of an earlier check-in. The water pressure in the shower and the inability for it to get truly hot are our only real concerns. "The house sits on the hills, with a very nice view, especially in the mornings. A couple of cats usually come to greet you and it helps to give them some food! They’re very friendly. I stayed for a month and had pretty much everything I needed. The shop is a 15 minute walk away, pretty small and slightly expensive so if possible drive to a bigger one! The host was very friendly and even picked me up at the airport as I don’t drive. There’s a path next to the garden which is rarely used but still...
