"It’s getting harder and harder to find a quality hotel that has a good location, great staff, and is very clean. But the Best Western had all those things. And the morning breakfast was very good. I especially appreciated how attentive the staff were in the breakfast area, but also at the front desk. For that matter, the cleaning staff were also excellent, and I gave them a big tip. I really enjoyed my stay, and I would pick this as my number one choice if I were coming to the Hammondsport area again. P.S. I thought I had a billing issue, believing that I’d been billed twice. The manager checked into it immediately and was very helpful. Turns out I was not double billed, but the professionalism in handling my concern was appreciated."

"Perfect weekend getaway location. Situated near Watkins Glen, the Hotel is situated on the west bank of Seneca Lake. Our room had a full view of the lake, and a private patio from the room. Has a bar and restaurant on site, with great meals and a wonderful, caring staff. While the bones of this place are an older brick construction "roadside motel", our doom was completely.renovsted, and had all th emodern ammenities one would expect at this price point. A great place to stay in the area."

"Our stay at Lakeside Resort was wonderful. We enjoyed 4 lovely days here. It was our home base as we explored the Finger Lakes region. We were always happy, after a day of touring, to return to our comfortable room and relax on our balcony that overlooked the beautiful green space and, in the distance, Seneca Lake. It was so peaceful. The staff was helpful and accommodating. "
