"10/10 recommend this place!! I grew up staying here for the holidays with my family and I was able to bring my husband and son. Our room was so nice, clean, and beds were comfortable. The loft was super roomy for our toddler. And most important the amazing staff! The nicest people you could ever meet! We want to thank Robin, Allison, Matthew, and Teri for your help and amazing hospitality. You guys went above and beyond for our family and we can’t thank you enough. We will definitely be back! "

"Great little family get away for a few adult siblings and spouses. Thomas was very accommodating when we needed something. Nice place to sit outside and there was hiking close by. We also got to watch the eclipse and the owners provided viewing glasses which was an added bonus. "

"Quaint little cottage on beautiful property, with shared pool and right across road from Guadalupe River. Loved the wallpapers and carved wooden furniture. Was great to have a comfy holiday home where our dog was welcome. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with lovely view of nature, or down in the dry creek, before the heat of the day got to us. Check-in was very simple, and we lacked nothing during the stay."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"The house was great. There is a refrigerator and a microwave but no stove…didn’t bother us because we ate out. We will definitely go back. The only little downside is that when leaving the house…there is a blind spot to get onto the main road. Just be careful. I still recommend this house. Very clean."
