"We had family from Texas, Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Florida. The 3 family groups had their own rental. We all met at our house for the two evening meals, the spacious home accommodated all of us. During the day, all of the children came down to the beach in our section as it is a perfect beach to play on. Adult supervision is needed due to the high winds and waves. We enjoyed watching the birds and the Pelicans flew right over the house several times a day. We went crabbing as a family and back to the houses get ready for our dinner gathering. The pictures show the beauty and spaciousness of this home. When you walk in there is an instant feel of being home and happy. The owners are easy to visit with when communicating. Several family members want to go back again to this home. "

"Great hunt/fishing camp and as-advertised overlooking the Mermentau River with 14 queen beds. Our Univ of Louisiana civil engineering group used it as base camp for our community service event. Host was available to communicate and address any questions. "

The home was set up so nicely to accommodate our group and had all the comforts of home. The house was beautifully decorated and every detail planned so well to make it easy to fish, boat, and cook the catch. The host was very thoughtful and responded quickly ti any questions I had.
