"Great little spot for a quiet night away, as it’s the start of the season there was evidently still work going on around the hotel, however still very quiet. The staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful if they tried, very laid back and friendly. Great value for money. The heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are great. "Excellent experience staying at The Covenanter for one night. We booked a deluxe room and stayed in the 'Queens Room' that is at the front of the hotel opposite Falkland Palace. Along with the 'Cameron Room' it's accessed via a separate entrance at the front of the hotel. This is a very old building so the plumbing etc is quite noisy and we could hear the music below us (albeit not that loud) from the bar. "This is a lovely and comfortable home within walking distance of Perth. There’s a comfortable sitting room a large dining room for morning breakfast and the rooms were clean and quiet. Graham was the young man managing the property while I was staying and he was wonderful to talk to and most helpful with anything I needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had a huge array of options. I highly recommend it."

"Great value for money accomodation. Location was amazing. Can be a bit noisy if you are looking out at the square. Very clean . Very comfortable twin beds and lovely shower. Best lodge ever

"When we arrived and went to reception to check it the lady was very welcoming and professional and friendly she explained about the lodge and what was available and gave us the keys to our lodge when to the lodge it was absolutely stunning very clean fresh and perfect the hot tib was maintained each morning and all staff were availbale if we needed anything this place is the best lodge we have stayed in 100% recommended "

"The rental was perfect for two couples having two bathrooms in this cozy and effecient home. The location was convenient as we traveled to Edinburgh several times easily with the close proximity to the motorway. Jennifer, the host, was very helpful with our day trips. Friendly Host But A Bit of a Weird Vibe

"When I first saw this place on VRBO I was excited, being a former pastor. The host was very nice and flexible with us when our arrival time was delayed. However, we both felt a little uneasy. The walkway back to the entrance is a little odd. I wouldn't have wanted to walk it after dark. It's hard to put a finger on, but I just couldn't completely relax. The seating wasn't great for watching TV for two people, and the kitchen was pretty outdated. There's a lot of stuff, and the decor was a little cluttered. I really don't want to give the wrong impression. It may be just the right fit for a lot of folks, and you couldn't find a more likable owner. It's not a fancy place but it is centrally located to Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, St. Andrews, and Perth. If you're looking for a place to be able to visit many of Scotland's attractions, this is a good choice."

"Our stay was fine. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed. We had to find somewhere to eat nearby, recommendation though from the hotel. After a long journey, with long delay and 7pm arrival, we would have preferred to just settle in for the evening. We then had to find somewhere for breakfast in the morning. Toilet flush was very poor. "
