We arrived to find a welcome note and bottle of wine and the cottage decorate for Christmas. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook all the traditional festive fare! The views were stunning and the village was within walking distance. There were walks on the doorstep and the opportunity to sit by a cost log fire. House was clean and very comfortable and has the most amazing views of the River Tay. We had fantastic weather the week that we stayed so done plenty of sightseeing- St Andrew's, Loch Tay, Edinburgh, Balmoral Castle. Would recommend the cottage and would love to come back someday ?

Have stayed in Meadowsweet a number of times and the cottage never disappoints.
Have stayed in Meadowsweet a number of times and the cottage never disappoints. Cosy and comfortable with all mod cons. A great place to go if you truly want to get away from it all. Newburgh is a great wee place with bags of potential. Unfortunately that potential has not been reached and lacks a small villages feel. If you have a car, there are a lot of lovely places close by and if you are a walker, there are some great walks to be done - just don’t expect a wee tearoom at the end of your walk for tea and cake as we couldn’t find any!
