"I found myself in an eco pod with disposable paper cups and two plastic throw away bottles of water- no toilet or washbasin and only two lights mounted at high level over the bed. Impossible to reach whilst in bed. The only toilets and showers were about 30 metres away."

"The people could not have been nicer. They took our baggage early and carried it up to our room three flights. Wonderful with restaurant suggestions and directions. Our king size bed room was lovely. So appreciated sash windows which could be opened up at night to naturally help with cooling the room and airing clothing. Nice to have both a shower and a separate bathtub. Good value for money. Location in the middle of High Street was perfect!"

"Attended my cousins wedding here, my room was clean comfortable & more than worth the price. Everything was exactly as described but the grounds were outstanding, with birds chirping happily everywhere. For me what really stood out was the staff, helpful & patient, full of smiles. Our weekend in Goodwood
"We had a great weekend at the Goodwood Hotel. Room was very well presented, comfy and clean. Service was excellent, Breakfast was exceptional and we ate both at the Kennels and the Butchers and again very good. Unfortunately the grounds were closed as they were preparing for the festival of speed and there wasn't anything on their website to advise that prior to arriving. This was a bit of a shame as we had planned to do some of the walks advertised. However the Hotel did apologise and advised us of alternative walks in the area."
