"Spent three nights at Rowan cottage and had the most wonderful time. The cottage is lovely - clean, cosy and incredibly well equipped. It was very cold whilst we were staying but we were perfectly warm with the excellent central heating and two fabulous wood burners. We had dinner at the Waterloo Inn and then walked to Hartington the next day and then along the river to Dovedale on the third and loved it all.
