"Our four days at Mentor-on-the-Lake were truly delightful. The attention to detail was impressive, from the Q-tips to the owner personally coming by to move the trash cans. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the scenic view of Lake Erie. The sunroom was an absolute delight, and I loved the beautiful book collection. "Communication for this stay was great from booking through checkout. The day of check in went smooth and the host followed up on the day of checkout to make sure we had enough time to check out. We did have an issue with the heating on the third floor the first night but once we advised the host he explained how to adjust the vents so it wasn't too warm up there. House was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone throughout the house. "

While the bed situation was a little different (a twin room and a twin bed on the upstairs landing), it is exactly what we expected based on the posted pictures. The house was clean, uncluttered, very comfortable bedsheets and towels, and coffee machines. Also, a nice sized living room and parking. Just what we needed! AND some good books and movies for those who had some extra...

The home has a lot to offer and had tons of toys and games for the younger children we had come visit us during our stay. Which kept them busy and having fun. We were a little nervous with the toddlers as there are lots of unique and beautiful decor within reach of little ones but thankfully we didn’t have any mishaps "
