"We rarely stay in pubs (particularly not on a Saturday night). This venue was exceptional, had clearly been refurbished recently (smell of fresh paint). Good to see locals in the bar, who welcomed us ahead of hotel staff. Room was clean and well appointed. We ate in restaurant in evening - food and service were both excellent (although portion size was HUGE !!!). Breakfast good in morning."

"What friendly staff!!! Everyone was so helpful and chatty. Lovely menu with daily specials, chef's specials and normal pub grub. Nice atmosphere too as it is down a country lane, but locals were eating and drinking there. Will stay there again the next time we are in the areaQ"

"A very nice place to stay, a warm welcome on arrival, the room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was very quiet (even with Storm Bert blowing like crazy outside). There were plenty of breakfast options which were served up promptly. I highly recommend The Belfry !"

"Really good service. Friendly welcome on arrival, shown to room. Nice clean room with the basic necessities. Bed, shower, tea and coffee, fridge, towels. No parking but one of the nearby streets is used and free. About a 10 minute walk to the centre. About 5 minutes from the beach. "

She went above and beyond for our stay. We booked accomodation for bridal party for the night before wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for Jenni even ensuring we were topped with refreshments while getting ready for the wedding. "Very clean, furnished beautifully. Great location for walks, for staying back and reading a book and for a short walk to a pub with lovely food and the biggest menu ever seen! Lots to do within short travel. We enjoyed an afternoon on the canal boating. Has a lovely pub/restaurant and there was a pop up food van. Ventured to Glastonbury, always an experience. Would love to go back again. "

"Exactly as described and exactly as other users have set out. Lovely little bolthole at the top of the lane on a farm with a view for days. Simple and effective. Worth going back for Paul andJudy alone, fab hosts. We will be back. "
