"Wonderful property in a lovely village. Plenty of attractions in the surrounding area. Village pub about 200 metres away. During our stay there was a busy market in the village hall on Saturday morning. Our host was most helpful and the welcome pack was most appreciated "

"A lovely stay, easy check in, communication amd service from Sue. The property has everything you need for a stay long or short. Beds are comfy and dark, annexe is warm and welcoming and in a lovely location. Thank you"

"The property is in a stunning location and is well maintained. However there was a lot of dust behind the TV and you know the places that are harder to access so it could do with a deep clean. In addition the number of plates cups sources provided his only enough for one per person which means that we had to wash up or put the dishwasher on and wait for this to finish before our next meal. This was limiting in what we could do in the kitchen and limited our days options."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"This accommodation was perfect for my partner and I who needed to be in Cheddar with our dog for a couple of nights. The accommodation was as pictured, the shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen had 2 electric hob rings/microwave and fridge. All the required utensils for simple cooking, tea, coffee and sugar . Logs for the wood burner were also provided."

"Lovely place to stay as a central base in Dorset, clean and well-appointed with clear instructions for optimum use of the cottage and area. Granted we stayed in February but I'd take some slippers next time as the floor is cold but the water was hot, shower was great and bed was very comfy. No communication with hosts whilst we were there but we didn't intitiate as we were out all day but I'm sure they'd be quick to respond to any issues as communication prior to this was very easy. "We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage, being very old, is just what we wanted, yet there were still all the mod cons to make life easy. The staircase was very interesting, to say the least and a wonderful feature. The log burner was great and gave off a lot of heat, which was especially enjoyable when we had one cold and very wet evening in October."
