"Lovely valentines weekend,.excellent staff really friendly and attentive. Great room very clean and spacious. Spa area was brilliant, better than Celtic Manor, and the staff in there.were brilliant. We ate in the restaurant and the food was of a good standard, particularly the breakfasts which was excellent. "

"We had a wonderful one night stay as a small family (couple with a toddler). The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless. We had a family room with views of the valley. The beds were comfortable and the coffee machine was a lovely touch. Plenty of space as well. We had both dinner and breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, both were very good quality and tasty. It was very busy for saturday night people having their dinner... its obviously very popular, and for good reason. We would definitely recommend. And would return again. "

"Hotel is in a great location, the staff at check in were extremely helpful and the facilities are great for families. Lots to do to keep the little ones entertained including the pool, cinema and play areas. Kids were so excited to have their own drinks tray in the room and bathrobes for the pool. Only one grumble, the breakfast was a fixed price, so not great value if your kids are fussy. Will most certainly be looking to book another trip here with the family."

"we were sposed to be out by 1 but left at 12 - blame the gf but the proprieter was more polite than i woul have been. i just mention this as the attitud of the owners - just friendly - so thanks and sorry ? im bit of a cheapo and so accordingly was the room - so i wasnt expecting much and got more than i bargained. must be very hard to keep an old pirate house shipshape overall plesaed. "
