"This provided a good, reasonably priced option for a last minute search in Old San Juan. The responsiveness and communication was excellent, including great suggestions for eating, and the location was very convenient. The reasons I am not giving it 5 stars are that I did not realize the room did not have a window (possibly in the listing that I missed and possibly helpful for noise, which was not an issue at all, given the location could be loud at busy times) and the bathroom was not ideal:...

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Emerald a ton! My space was extremely clean and up-to-date, while also having a lot of character - it felt like a much more authentic experience than staying at a resort high rise. Its location is fantastic too, as it's within easy walking distance of the beach, a Walgreen's for essentials, as well as a couple restaurants (including the famed Kasalta). "We had such an amazing time at Villa Azure! Our group of 16 couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous ocean views, and the fact that the beach was just a short walk away was perfect. The house itself was super cozy and beautifully decorated—plenty of space for everyone but still felt like home. We spent hours relaxing by the pool and enjoying the outdoor area, which was perfect for hanging out together. We can’t wait to come back!"

"we loved the room; there are several apartments in one property in a safe area. the pool was really enjoyable. overall clean. the apartment was a little small but with very good use of space. One thing that would have been useful would be access to the washer dryer as there are no laundromats near by "
