"We came to Scottsville for our son’s wedding. Steven is an excellent host- very communicative and accommodating. The space is nice, but the bathroom is VERY small. Despite that, the rest of the house is great and you can’t beat the location.We had 5 people there. One of the rooms has double bed bunks, but only two of us stayed in that room. "Suzy is a superb host who ensured everything was ready. The unit is perfect for a couple with dogs as there is enough room for a couple of crates. It was well kept and had a great location for sight seeing, trout fishing, bird hunting, hiking, and wine tasting which I did when there. Not hard to find at all, but is quiet and off the beaten path enough to enjoy the country. I will be returning. "

"The property was perfectly located for our purposes. It sits off the main road, nicely isolated. Close to grocery store, gas stations and restaurants. It is fully equipped, very comfortable. " The property provided everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time with our family members and the space was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. We had a great walk over to the retreat center nearby where we saw deer and a spectacular view of the James River. For adventure and groceries we went to nearby Scottsville where we enjoyed dining and shopping. The wedding was wonderful and the property was perfect to reconnect with family during our stay."
