It was the perfect place for our stay, with plenty of room for the five of us and with lots of little details thoughtfully provided which were helpful such as wireless phone charging stations, snacks, coffee pods, bottled waters, nice bath towels and plenty of hooks to hang them on, motion nightlights, etc. Too many to list them all! "My family and I spent another vacation week at the Peace of Paradise Lake House hosted by Anne. Trying to find time as a family for 3 grown boys with busy careers and one married is impossible except when it comes to the Lake House. I gave them the dates and they made the time to show up. We checked on Friday and by 4:30PM the boat was at the dock and tee times were made for two rounds of golf. We have stayed at the Lake House many times and we have no intention of going to any other...

"Great place close to downtown Roanoke and quick access to everything the star city has to offer! Very nice and clean place including the linens! Some places we have stayed have skimped there but now here! The parking can be a little tricky if you have a larger vehicle like we do but we made it work. My only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror in the bedroom for getting ready and a shelf of some sort over the toilet to set toiletries on as the bathroom sink is a pedestal...

"We stayed at the property over Labor Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed everything it had to offer. The house was clean, beds very comfortable, plenty of space to cook,watch TV, kitchen well stocked, very nice pantry to tuck away all the groceries we brought in. "This is an excellent location for any time of the year! We really enjoyed our time at the lake house. The bunk beds may need a little TLC, but everything else was just perfect!"

"We had a family Christmas gathering in this beautiful house. We all live in different parts of the country and this location was central. We used the house as a base, but only two families stayed here. Everything from the cleanliness to the well equipped kitchen and the little amenities was perfect. The view of the lake was an extra bonus and the game room was a great addition for the kids and kids at heart in the group. I highly recommend this house and hope to return in the future."
