"We booked last minute due to having to cancel our trip into France because they closed the station due to finding an unexploded bomb from WWII. With that being said it was our first time staying in a hostel and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are small of course if you are traveling with lots of luggage which we were. "This is the cleanest hostel I have ever been in. They are cleaning night and day. The 24-hour reception is a real plus and will take packages for you and accommodate most requests. The adjacent Brazilian restaurant is great for when you need a hot meal without going out in the cold. Unfortunately they don't have a coffee machine, but there is a cafe whose hours in the off-season are erratic. Super polite and helpful staff always. The bus and subway are 30 metres away. "Saint James hostel is a welcoming place to stay. It gives you the feel of a family home, with its very friendly and helpful staff who connect with guests. The hostel offers free breakfast and free dinner. They organise events and games to entertain. They even have a happiness manager! Tosh does a great job whether he is cooking dinner, making popcorn or organising a game for the guests. I recommend trying it if visiting London. "

"New build in Canary Wharf. Handy for shops and good transport links. Wished there was parking at the hotel, but it wasn’t too far away. Staff very warm and helpful. The only thing that could have been abit better was TV reception in the room really but we were hardly on the room. "

"Bermonds Locke is a treasure. The location is fantastic - very safe and a 5-minute walk from Tower Bridge and only a 10-minute walk to the trains and underground. Access from Gatwick on the train is simple and convenient. There are lots of dining options nearby. The unit was clean, and there are nearby grocery places if you prefer breakfast in. We didn't really use it, but the kitchen is very well-equipped. The laundry in the room is nice if you travel light. There is someone at the desk...

"Very nice place to stay if you need to stay overnight in London. Location is perfect, only 5mins away from the tube and Tower Bridge, and 2 minutes away from the DLR. Room was VERY spacious and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here, I’ll probably be coming back next time I need to stay in London. Lovely Stay and Great Location

"Our stay was amazing! Stayed 6 nights and the room was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable. The location is great! Right by a beautiful park, minutes from the British Museum, and just about a 20-30 minute walk into Covent Garden, Soho, and Piccadilly. It is also a couple of minutes walk to the Piccadilly tube, a 15-minute walk to Kings Cross station, and you can get to any bus stop and other tube lines in less than 20 minutes. There are pubs nearby, coffee shops, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay easy. My one complaint is that the Wi-Fi service is not the best, so if you have out-of-country service, getting a connection might be rough. But overall, a great place to stay, and I will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in London!"
