"This was a nightmare from start to finish. The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. When we arrived there was dirty underwear, dirty bedding, full garbage bins, a huge leak in the living room, 0 toilet paper, no shampoo, soap or coffee. They promised to get it cleaned which they did while we were out at dinner but the...

"The host was very kind in accommodating our schedule when arriving to Amsterdam, and the directions for taking the train and tram from the airport to the apartment were spot on and very helpful. The apartment itself is lovely and cozy, just the right amount of space for two of us. It did sometimes get a little cold (I'm not used to the Nest thermostats but for others it's probably not an issue) and it was a little odd to have the toilet and shower in separate rooms. Overall though it was very...
