"The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. A phone call with the property agent easily...

"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

"We loved staying at this beautiful cottage in such a beautiful location. It was so cozy and the surrounding area was everything we dreamed it would be. Janet and Mike were so welcoming and helpful. We felt like we were visiting family! The surrounding gardens and all the flowers are bountiful and obviously lovingly cared for. And we loved all the nature: bunnies, chickens, and sheep. "We booked the property as we were attending a family wedding in the area and we are so glad we did. The location of the cottage is lovely, with a grassed area at the front and paddocks behind. My son was completely in love with the horses, and also enjoyed regular visits from residents dog Bella and cat Archie! The property itself is lovely and homely and we felt really welcome by owner Laura, who came out to say hello when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Laura has left us...
