"So thrilled to have found this little gem. Needed an overnight stay near Monmouth, we stayed on Boxing Day evening, with our dog. Beautiful room , We ate in the bar, food first class. I imagine we will pay another visit if in the area. "

"Our room at the Deri-Down was lovely and comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern well equipped en-suite shower room. There was a multi-channel TV, a small fridge with milk, tea/cofffee provided. The landlady was very helpful and allowed my son and his wife to change in our room for the wedding we were all going to. "We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights."

"We had an amazing place, everything was just perfect. The room was huge, bed very comfortable, hot shower, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, all you need to be happy. The breakfast was delicious. Close distance to the town, Raglan Castle, Puzzlewood, Tintern Abbey and other local attractions. Highly recommended place to stay either for short or longer break. If we ever visit the area again, we'll definitely choose the The Church Farm. "

"We enjoyed the comfy bed and a soak in the bath. The Tv and other electrical appliances appeared brand new and everything we could want was there. The location is right on the main street so there was some traffic noise and we didnt find the heating or wifi controls - maybe some info in the room would help? This did not trouble us enough to seek help though, so overall a positive experience 🙂"

It was only an hour and twenty away from our base in weston super mare .The surrounding area is lovely we ate at the old court hotel and the next day went to ross on wye .we would defiantly stay again . "Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again."
