"It was a splendid place to stay. If you love history then you must stay here. It is very convenient for eateries, parking and it fulfils all the expectations that we have got used to these days. We only stayed one night but we wished we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Thank you."

"For those who love old buildings as I do, this a lovely place to stay - a 16th century house. It’s full of original features like fire places, beams etc. There are lots of books, including for children, available to borrow. One was a 1914 very detailed description of that part of Monmouthshire - local history, buildings, family trees etc. Church Farm is mentioned. "Booked for a long weekend to visit family nearby. Location was good and beIng able to park on a site was a bonus. Lots of local amenities within walking distance. Hosts couldn’t have been nicer. Wonderful breakfast with excellent choices. Will definitely book again when we visit family next year "

"Had a lovely holiday at Meadow End Barn celebrating my 70th birthday with family.Property clean and well equipped,although a washing line would have been useful.Coralie and villagers very friendly and welcoming.Had a couple of meals at the local pub,very friendly staff and very accommodating for disabled members in my party. "We had a great weekend at Oakdene it’s a quaint , quirky cottage in lovely surroundings . Waking up in the morning looking out over the hills and forest is fab. The cottage has all the basics required, it’s not super modern but it is cosy and comfortable and on the doorstep for all the Forest of Dean has to offer for mountain biking and walking .
