Apartments in Bristol

"Stayed in a 1 bedroom family apartment. A period property that has been stylishly decorated. Comfortable bed with plump pillows and quality bed linen. Daughter said could feel springs in pull out sofa but not too much to grumble about. A great position off the Clifton triangle so walk pretty much anywhere with lots of restaurants nearby. Nice little touches, Nespresso machine with capsules, L'occitaine toiletries, smart tv with Netflix etc included. Good communication before we arrived. Wasn't...

"On first entry you think this place is ok and it’s location suited us. Entry instructions provide were very good, but the issue is the rear access is blocked by four wheely bins. This makes a small access point difficult to find and navigate. Arriving gone 10pm we were very tired and just wanted to crash, but that didn’t happen because we had to spend over an hour cleaning. "Lovely old house, beautifully renovated in a perfect position for getting around Bristol by foot and close (10 mins easy walk) from the station. 5 big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and extra loo, big kitchen and small outside courtyard, which would be lovely in the summer. Some small comments - we arrived on a cold evening and had a struggle getting the heating working as the instructions were not clear (think they were written for a different flat!) but in the end we pressed the heating boost button...

"The apartment is exceptional but very expensive for what you get. There sofa is not big enough for four people. The main problem are the windows at the front of the property facing the main road. There needs to more coverings as the blinds are usless. Also some black out curtains. The sun came up at 4.30am and we couldnt sleep. But to make things worse.
