"Beautiful property that suited our needs well. Very well located close to everything in Richmond and on the North edge of the Nelson area so closer to Abel Tasman. Bathroom has been recently remodeled and was very nice; kitchen is fairly dated (pretty sure the built-in microwave oven was at least 40 years old -- it took forever to heat up items). The listing didn't mention a BBQ but there was indeed a Weber BabyQ grill propane bottle provided for renters. Would definitely rent the property...

The location was ideal, private, but reasonably close to amenities and services. Despite thinking we would spend some time exploring the local area, in the end we spent pretty much the whole time on the property as it had absolutely everything we could want there. "We had a wonderful time in Nelson. The house was great for us as a family and we greatly enjoyed taking our Labrador to Back Beach most days. Owner Mike was wonderful - welcoming and so knowledgeable about perfect places to take both the Grandkids and the dog. Property views are wonderful however would suggest since it is on a hill, a car is essential. "

"The property was very comfortable and generally met our needs. The shower was a little cramped and shower head kept flipping down. We weren't able to tighten the fitting. The narrow drive and tight turning circle into carport necessitated backing in or out for larger vehicle."
