"Perched on a hill above Kaiteriteri beach with gorgeous views, this home is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay while visiting Abel Tasman Natl Park. Ellie couldn't have been more kind and helpful, and we appreciated the thoughtful gifts she left to welcome us. Her home reflects the love with which it was built and decorated. We took great hikes right from the house, spent a delightful rainy day just relaxing at home and enjoying the views, and loved our day exploring Abel Tasman Park by water...

"The property was very comfortable and generally met our needs. The shower was a little cramped and shower head kept flipping down. We weren't able to tighten the fitting. The narrow drive and tight turning circle into carport necessitated backing in or out for larger vehicle."

"Highly recommended place to stay if you are in Nelson! Daphne was an amazing host, easy check in, lovely little studio she has providing us a serene and peaceful abode. Not forgetting to mention the swimming pool is so lovely! Will upload my journey on Youtube channel: lynofuro "

"Quiet, relaxing, clean, airy, comfortable beds, spacious. A lovely original home hidden inside the middle of a residential block with an enormous backyard of fruit, veg and herbs, all available. For people without a car, this is close to stops for bus to/from Nelson, pickups for Abel Tasman and seaside walks. "

"We really enjoyed staying in this house in Kaiteriteri. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the ocean, and the ships go by. The house was very quiet with the waves gently lapping on the shore. We hiked the Eco resort one day and the Tasman Coast track the next. Both very nice!!!"

"The owner was very friendly, showed us grapevines they had grown outside the room and invited us to take some grapes with us when we left (very tasty). There was a lot of road noise until after dark as we were just off a main road, but the property was nice and well appointed. I booked online and apparently the room with 2 beds did not translate well but they immediately made up an extra bed for me, no trouble. Did not try the pool but it was open"
