"A shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel and goes to the port authority. It is cash only and costs 3.5 per ride. The shuttle also brings you back, but double-check the availability if you plan to return at late hours. Affordable and the best location I was able to find for a last-minute trip. The housekeeping staff were friendly, one time I couldn't open the door with my key and they helped me. The towel could be stained with hair inside. The back was facing a highway so could be noisy. "

"The room was surprisingly very clean and the staff was nice and quick. Check in took like two minutes. Only thing I was bothered with was the very strong smoke scent throughout the room. There were some stains on the parts of the sheets that luckily you won’t be sleeping on, and the lamp shade. Other than that I was pretty satisfied. "It was out dated smell horrible and the heat didn’t work and the bathroom didn’t have sink stopper in it my husband weddings ring fell down the drain. The toilet was so old the paint was coming off and you can see the brown. Drunks and drug people was on the property. We couldn’t open the window. Very unsafe. Feel that you will be robbed. The bed you can feel the string in it. And it definitely a rip off that’s why they only show the front as advertisement but it need to be closed down"

"Gosh, this place was so much nicer than I was expecting. The front desk guys were so helpful to me and my mom who was in a wheel chair. We never waited for them to help use the lift. The floors in our room were incredibly clean. The kitchenette was well appointed. The elevators were fast. We hardly ever waited. The location was amazing. Right next to Rock Center and Times Square. Somehow the neighborhood was decently quiet. I can’t wait to come back to NYC to stay here again. "
