"We loved staying at the Hersie House. The home is extremely well equipped with all the essentials and a few nice extras that we didn’t expect, such as coffee and creamer and spices in the kitchen. The decor was charming. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of the renovation and reading about the history of the place. The heated bathroom floor was a touch of heaven! We will be back!!"

"This home is so pretty- beautiful scenery in the back yard and gorgeous inside. Nice, comfy living space and good outdoor area. The host was so nice and helpful when we had to make some changes. The only thing I wish I would have paid closer attention to is that the home is RIGHT by the highway- like 30 yards from front door to road. This wasn’t too bad for us since it was cool and we didn’t spend too much time outside, but could have been a turn off it we were looking for more private outside...

"Our multi generational family enjoyed our time so much at the Modern Farmhouse Retreat. The kids loved playing on the property and we all enjoyed ending the day in the hot tub and around the fire pit. The home was clean and the kitchen very well stocked. There was so much to do in the area as well. We’re already making plans to go back!"

"It was nice driveway was steeper than expected. Bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in we didn’t want to leave. Misty mountain hops and the yellow plant are to die for food was awesome and the butcher and bottle in Ellijay is great very classy we hiked in Cherokee national forest played corn toss and relaxed "

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was so cute and clean! Very convenient to downtown. We felt tucked away but only had a 5 minute drive to Main St. I highly recommend staying here for a getaway!"

"The property was amazing and the sound of the stream was magical. The only drawbacks weird the bedding(pillows mostly, but not all the mattresses are ideal), the WiFi being pretty rough and no Blu-ray player(not that big a deal if you’re trying to disconnect). But again overall an amazing place to relax and catch up with friends/family."
