"We really enjoyed our time here. It was central to the local Walmart which made shopping easy and also the boat rentals. Otherwise we spent our time in the cabin. We did need to purchase more kitchenware as the supply was sparse and the same went for toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies - all of that was lacking for a house this size. But in terms of a family getaway, it was great. Just plan in advance to bring everything on your own since the house is stocked with minimal basics....
