"The lodge is a beautiful property. The people all seemed very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues. Our room was apparently directly below the bar, and the noise of voices and furniture moving was so loud we could hardly talk together. I don't suppose there's anything to be done about it, and it did end by 11 pm, somewhat past the bedtime of old folks like us. The other problem is squeaky door hinges. "This home is fantastic! The photos and description is spot on. Easy to get to but also off the beaten path. We had a large group to celebrate a 50th birthday. At one point 10 adults and 4 teenagers. We never felt crowded. Everyone had their own space. The basement was perfect for the teenagers. "We had 7 people from 4 states for a family reunion. Great house for that with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for different activities. Nice view of the lake, close to town and good grocery store for provisions. The house was immaculate when we got there. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cookware and other things. It had everything we needed. Highly recommended."
