"The lodge was just as described - very modern, clean and cosy. The site itself was also lovely. This was the perfect place to stay, close enough to Keswick for things to do but away from the crowds. Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure! "

"Very clean and tidy, perhaps a little dated but the hot tub more than made up for it. Stress and hassle free the check in process was easy. The site is very well maintained making it an all round relaxed and very enjoyable stay."

"We were a group of 6 friends visiting the Lake District. This was an amazing property. It was as described. Super neat and clean. The owners were also fabulous and responded to all our questions and were super helpful with places to eat in the area. I'd recommend this property to anyone wanting a home away from home in the Winderemere area. Thanks Louise and Lindsey"

"Was left over chinese takeaway in fridge. Bed sheets were disgusting, lots of hairs and stains. Cups were unwashed. Decking was so slippy, green molud, nearly had a bad fall. Fold away chairs in main bedroom which seems to be from outside had spider nets. We came home after being there few hours and was meant to stay 4 nights. We were so disappointed, angry, deflated as saved up our hard earned cash for our 4 nights away and ended us coming home before we should have. "

"Lodge is set in a great location on the park with great views from the outside decking. The sofa in the lodge could do with replacing as there is a smell coming from it. The listing advised a smart TV in the lodge but this was a freeview TV so no netflix , Amazon TV etc. Overall we had a great stay and would return but would be nice to have a upto date TV & new sofa."
