"We stayed here one night in a king fireplace room. The room was clean and had all the basic necessities needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of linens provided. I appreciated the in-room coffee maker with Starbucks coffee. There was a mini fridge large enough for several drinks and small food items. There was a safe though we didn’t use it. The game room and pool were a big hit! We explored the nearby trails that led down to the ocean and purveyed the grounds which had a couple outdoor games and fire pits. We used the largest one at night for s’mores. Having the Cowtipper available for breakfast was very convenient and the staff was very welcoming. The front desk staff was very friendly and happy to assist with anything. There are a couple restaurants within a minute or two drive unless you want to drive into town. The boardwalk was a great way to spend the morning before our drive home. I would definitely recommend this place to someone wanting a quiet retreat. "

"VERY WARM WELCOME BY NIGEL AT FRONT DESK. HE NOT ONLY GAVE ME THE EXACT ROOM I WANTED BUT ALSO CHECKED ME IN EARLY!! MARIA WAS ALSO VERY KIND AND HELPFUL DURING MY STAY. JIM IN BREAKFAST ROOM, WAS VERY KIND AND INVITING. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !! I WILL DEFINITELY BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!! "

"I enjoyed that the property was close to Hearst Castle the and the sea lion cove and San Simeon parks and all the flowers were blooming and they allowed dogs and the picnic tables on the lawns and it was so quiet and you can walk to your choice of restaurants and mini marts and you can walk to the beach. I wish they had streaming ability for the TV maybe they can tell me how to get it from my phone and then it goes on the TV I don't know I forgot to ask but it was so quiet I just really enjoyed it. "
