"It was a good stay..the building is a little older. Parking is available for a price, i highly recommended since its hard to find any other parking on the busy streets. Also, the streets are very narrow and hard to navigate with a big car. There is an attendant in the bulding at all times, so that was nice. The host is very attentive and communicated with me all the time. "

"Great location, about 15min walk to prime ocean locations. Unfortunately, a cat was in our unit at some time...smelled of kitty and we all woke up with runny nose's and red eyes. Also, make sure you get the instructions to turn on the hot water...we recieved them late. Nice place though."

"Old building not in a good shape, needs repairs. In my room balcony door not properly attached, one electric wall socket not working, tv not working. Basic things, shower, kitchen corner ok. Balcony good. Overpriced"

"I understand it may not be the management's fault but when we arrived at the propriety there were people inside the room smoking. Because of that, when we entered the room, it was smelling like cigarettes. We arrived at the propriety at 3 am and called the management because the strange people were there, they didn't answer nor messaged us back the next day to know why we called them at that time of the night. The room overall was clean, but the bed sheets and blanket had wholes on them. My...

Stayed in the palace in split!

"We loved our stay at Kastel 1700! Nothing like being inside a 1700 year old palace! Great location, close to all the shops, outdoor patios and the Riva promenade. The staff were so friendly and efficient! And the breakfast was great! Highly recommend Kastel 1700!"

Luxury by the beach

"Absolutely brilliant service. We arrived early as had been on a sailing boat and they allowed us to check in around 9. They also allowed us a late check out at noon and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Amazing views (although there is some building work ongoing so a bit noisy on the pool deck). Would highly recommend"

Great location and kind staff

"We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff made our trip so memorable, Mario, Tomislav and Anja were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was comfortable, and there were even peacocks on the grounds! If you are coming by car, drive past the white hotel signs and drive up the hill and turn left. There will be a gate to the parking. "
