"A beautiful inn, stunning setting. Room more than adequate but needed a little "TLC" - paintwork chipped in places, couple of cobwebs (soon removed), lighting very poor but possibly because of low-wattage light bulbs. Beds extremely comfortable, lovely bed-linen. Unfortunately, due to a sudden (very) cold snap in the weather, the room was quite cold and the radiator insufficient to warm the large room and sitting area. The staff quickly rectified this by providing a mobile heater. Good evening...

"Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you "

"We love the Erskine Arms and have visited several times in the past few years. The rooms are very comfortable with nice beds and great showers. Some rooms lack storage however. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The bar area is great but can get busy with people eating there early evening. The food for both breakfast and dinner is excellent with a lovely varied menu. The hotel overall is very comfortable and friendly with a good atmosphere. "Turned up around 6 and check in was quick. went out for works meal so didn’t eat there but one thing I asked for in prior message to hotel was for twin beds to be connected as advert offered double bed. That wasn’t done. Other than that, hotel clean, reasonably comfortable beds and checkout was easy. Good value overall"

"Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower. Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good) Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions."

"A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service. "

"The cottage was very cosy perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Close to the seafront and the expressway we had good days out to Anglesey, Bangor and Llandudno. We would love to go again next summer!"

"Had a spot of bother accessing the key safe but eventually ok. Flat was very nice. Nice bright decor. Very well equipped. Nice touches like various teas, coffee and biscuits. Lovely fluffy towels. The beds were a little soft but comfortable. The one toilet was almost impossible to flush. There was a note on it saying press firmly and a man would do it easily but being two mature ladies we couldn't. Advised the hosts and I've had an email to say it's been fixed since we left. Couldn't get on...
