"We had a wonderfull time. We enjoyed the livingroom withe the beuatiful view on the lake. The kitchen was small buth well equiped. The american fridge was great with the ice cubes. We missed a microwave. The bethrooms were comfortable en nice to have 3 bathrooms."

"My husband and I had six nights in this beautiful villa in Baveno. It is high in the town with a 10 minute walk down to the ferries/train/bus, as the listing indicates. So it is perfect to explore the islands of Lake Maggiore, as well as the other towns along the shores. Being that high, the villa has an amazing view of the lake and islands. "This historic villa will sweep you away. Such stunning grounds and views. Very clean. Property manager is very helpful and attentive. Location cannot be beat. Super spacious with fantastic library of books. We were sad to leave. Just keep in mind - it's an old house! No air conditioning so adjust expectations for summer months."

For us, the ability to kayak and bathe in the lake every day and in addition to hike in the surrounding mountains made the vacation amazing.
