"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It was very hot during our stay but the airconditioned rooms were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and they were not short staffed like many other places. The pool bar makes the best Pina Colada's in PV in my opinion."

"Came here with a group of 9 friends. The suites and the view from the suites were absolutely incredible - much better than the pictures seem. The resort is very beautiful and they have an on-site restaurant with a great menu. Staff were all very friendly and responsive to any requests. The one thing guests should be prepared for is to climb a lot of stairs (they have an elevator, but in most instances, you have to climb steps to access it and it didn’t always work). Probably wouldn’t recommend...

"We loved the Marcela Resort. It was a 2-bedroom / 2-bath unit, and very large - at least by US standards. From the wrap-around deck, it had an amazing view of the pool, down the mountain, and out to the ocean. It had a full kitchen, separate jacuzzi, and in-unit laundry. The price was still very reasonable. The whole property was well-kept and nicely decorated. It's also very picturesque - the building itself is really interesting, and the gardens all over the grounds are full of pathways with...

"The property, located in Old Town area, gives the feeling of Puerto Vallarta of yesteryear. The accomodation was quite large and could have easily housed 3 persons. The kitchen was well appointed if one wished to prepare meals or snacks. The shower was a delight (recently renovated) with plenty of hot water a d good pressure. The view from the terrace is what we come to PV for...the ocean and the incredible sunsets. There is a rooftop pool! The location is perfect from which to enjoy the beach,...
