"Our stay was fine. The room was clean, which is most important to me. I felt safe. Breakfast was mostly gone by the time we got there, and no one was around to easily ask. Desk clerk was busy on the phone. It was ok, especially for the price. Check in was easy. I'd stay there again, just go earlier for breakfast! "

"We changed our travel dates to get this place and La Belle River House was everything we hoped. Beth was very helpful. The whole house is just lovely, comfortable, and nicely done with plenty of separate resting & visiting spots. Original hardwood floors throughout give authentic sound & feel. The kitchen was very functional, super ice machine, and all the needed equipment. It was also the best equipped property we've ever rented. Soaps, paper products, even coffee supplies, we didnt even have to visit the neighborhood PigglyWiggly! The nearby park and downtown area was enchanting at night and has patriotic & moving tributes to Gallia County Veterans. But it was the deck and gorgrous front row view of the Ohio River and lush bottomland that stole the show. With rain and overcast skies we wished for a covered portion because that is exactly where we wanted to be. Great birding with iridescent tree swallows and purple martins galore, and if you're lucky a glimpse of the stair groundhog! We tried Courtside & Lorobi's because they were within walking distance, both pretty good. We were planning a return trip before day 1 was over - great spot, dont tell!"

"Cozy cabin with plenty of sleeping space. Good little beach for fishing if the river is low enough. Easily accessible and has all the necessary amenities. It’s awesome to not need to go somewhere else for breakfast and to have it delivered to your cabin is top tier. "
