My sister and I met at a relatively halfway spot to spend my birthday weekend together. This town is so cute! I arrived Friday evening and there was a little concert on the Square. The downtown 'square' had some military and war memorials, a bandstand, and a fountain, and everything is well maintained and overlooks the river. When we were walking around the Square before leaving on Sunday morning, there was a Farmer's Market going on and we purchased some fresh produce to take home with us. Such a lovely location to look out at the river, better if you are into boating. It was super hot that weekend, so we mostly stayed in the house and looked out the back windows that overlook the river. Very clean, really comfortable beds, and just a delightful home. The only thing of note is that there is only one parking space for the home, so be prepared to walk about a block for any more vehicles than the one. There is street parking, but it stayed pretty full near the house. Plenty of parking a block over at the downtown square, and it isn't a bad walk and has sidewalks the whole way.
