"The Allure Hotel is geographically perfectly placed in South Townsville as it’s within walking distance to the food and shopping precinct in Palmer Street and the City Very safe and secure with off street parking available. Easy check in and the staff are flexible, helpful and friendly. They are very proud to be working in this Hotel. There is a fabulous cafe in the complex that serves the freshest and delicious food and coffee. Opened about 6 hours a day which is ideal. I was fortunate to have a room on the 8th floor and the view was ever changing with the highlight being the new Cowboys Bank Stadium that often at night was lit up purple. Absolutely stunning for The Stadium encapsulates the horizon. Safety is a priority in this complex and with the swipe cards for access , security was ensured Room very comfortable, clean and met our needs. Loved the separate lifts for each section and they were quiet and fast. Totally recommend The Allure for a secure and safe place to stay in wonderful Townsville. "

"Great location, but the room I had was a bit tired. I did book the cheapest room because I was travelling for work, but I wonder if I paid a bit more if I would have been allocated a much better room. Sunday markets out the front of the hotel, walkable to main strip, super friendly staff. "

"Enjoyed our stay here. Staff were lovely and friendly and the room was good! Love the pool area and the property’s location as it’s close to everything. Only little problem we had was that the air conditioner wasn’t working very well in our room which we didn’t discover until we went to bed late at night after an event we attended. It still worked but just didn’t get very cold. "

"Nice hotel. Recommended. Only thing that annoyed me a bit was that the complimentary parking was already full. Instead of informing me I can park my car for free on the road behind the hotel I first got offered to purchase a paid parking spot for 25dollars a night. Why not be honest about it? "you can either park your car for free on the road or you can purchase a protected parking spot". Additionaly I don't think the upselling is ideal: "would you want to upgrade your room". Everyone who checked in was asked the same question. Everyone checked in late in the evening and booked only one night. "
