"The Hotel is welcoming and offers very good, no frills accommodation. No bar or breakfast options but close to many establishments so you are spoilt for choice. The bedding and towels were excellent. Would have rated higher but our fridge didn't work, neither did the bathroom extractor and the window was hard to close. "The staff are so kind and hospitable. I did not take his name. He is a handsome young man at the front desk on November 8. He was extremely polite & helpful. He went the extra mile to answer my questions. Now, my original reservation at a different hotel was canceled for some reason. So I walked to a second hotel next door, and the man at the front desk was also kind & helped me find a room in Golden City Hotel. The impression I get in my interactions with the locals is just wonderful....

Beautiful and Historic

"This is a beautiful historic hotel. Mustafa Ataturk stayed at this hotel as did many world known celebrities. The hotel had preserved the rooms that Ataturk used and now show them as a museum. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They always answer with a smile. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. "

"We had an incredible stay at this hotel in Istanbul! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. Everyone was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit special. The rooms were comfortable and clean, giving us a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The location was excellent, close to major attractions, which made sightseeing easy. The concierge gave us fantastic recommendations and even helped organize tours for us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience; we can’t wait to return. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable stay in Istanbul!"
