"Had a lovely meal in the pub and the staff were super helpful and kind. Our booking seemed to have come through very late so the room and especially the bathroom were quite cold when we arrived. But the room had warmed up after we’d had dinner. Did a great and varied walk up along the tops then down into Great Malvern and back along bridleways so it was really well located for that. Dog friendly too."

"The person that checked me in (Oli I think) was very kind and welcoming. There was an issue with heating and hot water which Oli rectified straight away and was cheerful and helpful throughout. The chef on breakfast service was outstanding, friendly and got the food out in a timely manner, 5 stars for breakfast. "An interesting pub with decent food, ideally situated for the iron bridge 10 mins walk away, and the museums . My room was comfortable and warm enough given the -5c outside. it had a part glass floor with industrial archeology visible through it. "
