"My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it! It was a good location for exploring the castles in Northern Wales as well as Snowdonia National Park. It rained part of our trip but we were able to watch two beautiful sunsets from the house and walk by the sheep farms that are all around. The hosts were great with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend for a peaceful stay."

"Beautifully set out and accessible too, which was important for us as a first trip away after my partner suffered a stroke. The host was available to answer questions and also allowed us to leave at our leisure which made such a difference when showering/dressing needs extra time. "We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. "Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country....

We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley.
