"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for three nights while we attended AirVenture. It is very convenient to the Oshkosh Whitman Airport. The cabin is quaintly decorated and well-appointed; it offers anything you may need for your stay. Not to mention it is very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. The views of the lake are absolutely terrific. The last morning we drank coffee while watching a flock of at least 25 pelicans float by on the surface. Josh, the host, was incredibly helpful...

"We had a wonderful time staying at this top notch home on the lake. Great location for a weekend trip to Nordic Mountain. Fully stocked kitchen for meal prep and plenty of space for all to sleep comfortably. Owners’ communication was quick and responsive. We highly recommend!"

"The house is lovely, well stocked, with beautiful views and a spectacular lake. The area is quaint, quirky, and peaceful. We had plenty of room for the 4 families. Even tho it was October, we swam in the chilly, clear lake and enjoyed boating and fishing. 5 stars! "

"5 of us (sisters) have been vacationing together for the past 32 years. The location was perfect for us, plenty of beds and bathrooms. We enjoyed the pier and were lucky it didn't come out for the season until our last day. The only issue we had was with the stove...it worked but got extremely hot when run for an hour at 400 (per our recipe). It took quite some time to cool off as well. "

We even went canoeing which is something we haven’t done since high school church youth group trips. Yep, I’m still kinda sore😉. The weather was perfect and so was our stay at BlackBerry Lodge. "We had a girls weekend and it went great. The water was perfect, nice sandy bottom to the lake, hot tub was great, house had relatively comfortable beds. Neighbors apparently take pictures of the number of cars in the driveway, which I thought was quite odd seeing as the property is advertised to sleep 16 people. Other than that, the stay was great. Property is definitely not walking distance to any local restaurants or taverns, so plan on having a car to get anywhere. "

"Great view and location. Off season so dock was pulled up and not able to take advantage of. Supper club next door closed and possibly opening at a later date under new ownership. Stayed with friends so really enjoyed the indoor beautiful bar!"

"This cottage is great, was exactly as expected. Nice and clean, and Gilbert Lake is a gem. Bonnie and Jeff were great to talk to and were totally responsive to all communication. We will rent from them in the future!"

"Rhonda greeted us at the property and she was very kind and friendly. The place is rustic and beautiful! I loved the modern kitchen with all the dishes you need to cook or grill. They even had shampoo/body soap for showering and I love the touch of having makeup wash clothes. We enjoyed camp fires, the lake and the quaint town of Fremont. The place was SO peaceful ! "
