"5 of us (sisters) have been vacationing together for the past 32 years. The location was perfect for us, plenty of beds and bathrooms. We enjoyed the pier and were lucky it didn't come out for the season until our last day. The only issue we had was with the stove...it worked but got extremely hot when run for an hour at 400 (per our recipe). It took quite some time to cool off as well. "

"We absolutely loved our mini vacation! Got out of the craziness and right into tranquility! Beautiful log home with hiking trails and a great little beach. We even went canoeing which is something we haven’t done since high school church youth group trips. Yep, I’m still kinda sore😉. The weather was perfect and so was our stay at BlackBerry Lodge. Can’t wait to bring the family back in the summer! You guys rock! "

"We had a girls weekend and it went great. The water was perfect, nice sandy bottom to the lake, hot tub was great, house had relatively comfortable beds. Neighbors apparently take pictures of the number of cars in the driveway, which I thought was quite odd seeing as the property is advertised to sleep 16 people. Other than that, the stay was great. Property is definitely not walking distance to any local restaurants or taverns, so plan on having a car to get anywhere. "

" We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. "We had a gathering of our family here. We were all raised and attended school in Waupaca. This was THE spot for us to be and it just went so well for us. We liked having the lake and kayaks to use and the yard in back with the picnic tables…..just so nice here and the location was so pretty. Very happy with our stay! Thank you! "

"Rhonda greeted us at the property and she was very kind and friendly. The place is rustic and beautiful! I loved the modern kitchen with all the dishes you need to cook or grill. They even had shampoo/body soap for showering and I love the touch of having makeup wash clothes. We enjoyed camp fires, the lake and the quaint town of Fremont. The place was SO peaceful ! "

"House was lovey and lots of nice amenities . Kids loved trampoline, play area and air hockey table. River tubing about 20 minutes away, great time for all ages. Close to walking/biking trails. UTVs not allowed on trails but can use local roads."

"We had a wonderful stay! Cabin is really nice. Very clean, well furnished and super cute. Location is great - just steps away from restaurants and the boat launch. The large pier made it so easy to dock our boat for the weekend. Fred was very quick to respond to questions and so accommodating. We look forward to our next visit!"
