"Overall — the property had everything we needed. The fishing off the dock was GREAT, as one of us even caught a very large muskee right off of it! I do feel that the place looks a bit worse for wear, or hastily constructed, in a few areas (vinyl peeling off the ceiling of the outside porch, etc.,) but this didn’t affect the overall quality of our stay. My only suggestion would be a larger dining room table. Oh — and the host was SUPER responsive and SUPER helpful. 10/10 on that front!"

" We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. "We had a lovely time at this beautiful property. Comfortable, updated, quiet. There are no photos that show the steps down to the lake, which are quite steep, so it isn’t great for folks with mobility issues but is absolutely perfect for those without!"

"All of the outdoor activities is really what makes this place great. There are so many walking trails and neat little buildings to explore. Kids would love it. Lots of outdoor games. The fire pit is awesome. Best part for us was the hot tub. The inside of the house was very clean. It is very dated but is part of the charm. The outposts and buildings were neat but needed a thorough cleaning. I imagine it’s hard to keep up with the spiderwebs. Overall a neat place with lots to do."

"Corie and Ryan’s cabin is exactly as advertised. Nicely done, cute and comfortable. She was very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. Pleasant Lake is beautiful and quaint. The cabin is a short walk from the boat launch or beach. We look forward to going back!"
