I knew when I booked the room it was an older hotel so was not expecting the state of the art rooms. the hotel was built in 1928 but it had a great charm to it and was fun just walking around the hotel. the room did get hot and I turned on the air but no air came out. found out latter it is heated from a broiler so you can go from heat to cold but once i figure that out we just turned everything off and the room was very comfortable even though the temp...

"Historic and beautiful. The room, the lobby, the staff. I do feel the lobby should serve drinks from their bars to patrons who are lounging in the lobby, similar to The Peabody. Especially on NYE. But our stay was excellent! "
