"This is a strange hotel to review - once a grand building, now very tired. The room we had was spacious but it took 5 mins to get in and out as the key was temperamental. I had to show ladies a few doors down how to operate theirs, too (so not just us). One socket in the whole room. The tiny reception wasn't manned very often. The area outside was ropey (didn't feel safe unless accompanied) but I have to say, the location of the hotel is great for visiting Pikes Market etc."

"I love boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and charming. They had a kitchen downstairs that offered tea and coffee around the clock and breakfast after 7a. The hotel was perfectly located a short walk from the Westlake train station, the Clipper Ferry and Pikes Place Market. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay within walking distance of Seattle’s downtown points of interest. "

"Great location. Very walkable to Pike Market, Art Museum, Ferry, Shopping, Bars, Restaurants. I don’t advise walking around that area after midnight. But, the hotel requires key for entry and a key to get the elevator, so I felt safe. Staff are lovely. The only negative, was the pull out couch bed in the Spa Suite is uncomfortable, and you need to order a blanket for it up to the room, or you will be cold all night. "
