"My wife and I had a most pleasant stay for eight days at "Down by the Sea". Our accommodations there were very quite, very clean and very comfortable. Our hostess, Heike, was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. She was most helpful with directions and references for local eateries. "It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"Perfect place for rest, peace, and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The view is incredible — rainforest and ocean views with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Comfortable rooms with excellent beds/bedding and good AC. Hosts are very friendly, but also respectful of privacy.
