"This property is UNSUITABLE for pilgrims, despite its close proximity to the Camino del Norte. There were no washing or drying facilities for clothes beyond ones ability to improvise in the bathroom. The owner was uncontactable and did not respond to my WhatsApp message written in Spanish. They did not have a stamp for my Credencial del Peregrino to record my stay, a necessity to prove having walked the route. There were no cooking facilities beyond a microwave and the restaurant at the hotel...

"We were 5 and stayed in the 8 beds room. The heater was switched on and beds were made when we arrived late in the afternoon. Aitor was there to welcome us and gave us a tour of the house which was recently renovated in mid 2022. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. "Casa Pikua was right on the Camino. A sudden rain shower hit 2 miles before we arrived. We were able to dump our clothes in the spacious room and go to the bar and get dinner and drinks. Beautiful view from the room and dining area."

"Bonita casa rural con vistas a la campiña y al mar. A unos 10 mins en coche de Mutriku, tiene un sendero muy agradable que baja hasta el pueblo (unos 25 mins a pie). Nos alojamos en falta de un apartamento funcional bien equipado en general y con las camas cada mañana hechas como si fuera una habitación de hotel. Advertimos algunas carencias en cuanto a menaje -falta de cafetera, exprimidor, vasos- que parcialmente fueron resueltas. Propietario muy agradable. Hay mosquitos en la zona, pero...
