"No signage to how to enter the hotel, room was an inferno - very hot. No fans. Seemingly nobody else in the hotel but maybe the owners were above us and there was noise until 2:30am. We slept 1 hour and then gave up at 5:30am and left. Terrible experience. "

"This was a lovely modern apartment in an old farmhouse in the hills behind Zarautz. Dorleta was an excellent host despite a language barrier mostly overcome with Google Translate."

"Beautiful peaceful location and lovely property in rural location but make sure you take plenty of groceries as there are no restaurants for miles around. It is very isolated but this may be part of its attraction for some people. The countryside is extremely hilly and there appear to be no rights-of-way so this is not a good spot for dog walking."

"Matteo the owner is extremely responsive, helpful, welcoming and generous. His guesthouse and the grounds are truly magical! Just a beautiful setting that is very special. Breakfast was lovely outside with the views and homemade delicious treats. We would highly recommend this place as a top place to stay! Susan "
